Mission

Socially responsible knowledge

UZC is preparing its first admissions cycle and practice-oriented programs for the Częstochowa region, Europe and digital work environments. The university does not yet publish student or alumni counts because the first semester is planned for October 2026.

History

From regional concept to first admissions

UZC's history is the history of organizing a new university: regional needs analysis began in 2024, program boards and placement partnerships were prepared in 2025, and formal organizational work was completed in spring 2026.

Authorities and organization

At launch stage the university is led by founding rector Prof. Ewa Biernacka, Vice-Rector for Education Dr. Katarzyna Lis and Chancellor Paweł Rosiński. Faculties are managed by deans responsible for programs, education quality and external cooperation.

Status

Rankings and accreditation

As a new university preparing its first academic year, UZC is not yet classified in national or international university rankings. Legal status, programs and quality procedures are published in the public information section and will be updated after the first full data cycle.

Fees

Tuition published by program

The admissions fee is PLN 85 per selected program. First-intake tuition is provisionally between PLN 3,900 and PLN 5,900 per semester, depending on program, level and laboratory costs; details are shown on program pages.

Organizational milestones

Concept

Regional education needs analysis

The founding team gathered data on the labor market, shortage fields, employer needs and access to practical education in the Częstochowa subregion.

Programs

Program boards and placement partnerships

Program profiles, employer consultations, preliminary placement agreements and the quality-system framework were prepared.

Organization

Completion of the organizational stage

The university completed work on faculty structure, organizational documents, IT systems and public information presentation. This does not yet mean classes have started or that the university has enrolled students.

Admissions

Launch of 2026/2027 admissions

Applicants may choose from 42 programs delivered by eight faculties. Published figures refer to seat limits and applicant service, not current student headcount.

The portal supports announcements, documents, user profiles and protected file downloads.

Start of the first semester

The plan includes orientation week, academic-year opening and first laboratory classes.
